Photo Examples of K-9 Services

by the F.A.S.T. Co.

Photo examples of various K-9 funeral services, received by K-9 handlers and some that I have attended.
Not being in Law Enforcement, but married to a funeral director,
I am only familiar with services for people in the state of New Jersey.
I only suggest, have a similar service for the K-9 partner as you would for a K-9 officer.
Suggestions - not facts:
Notify the media and the press of date and time of service. In press release, invite the public.
Encourage the public to attend, they want to support you. Make them feel welcomed.
Contact K-9 officers from surrounding towns/states to attend service with their canines.
Present cremains or casket for service at cemetery or in the building where service is held.
Print programs, if possible for guests.
Hand out the photo memorial cards, (I donate 70 to 100) one at a time to mourners.
If not, they will take several and you will run out of cards.
Eulogy: Let K-9 handlers, family and friends speak at a podium of their relationship to the K-9.
Present (your country's) flag to handler.
Cycles can escort motorcade to hall for lunch/or/ to cemetery for burial.
Just be there to support the handler.
email me  with your suggestions and I will add to this link...
