                                         Poems below                                        .

In loving memory of all those who perished; the passengers and the pilots on the United Air and AA flights, the workers in the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, & all the innocent bystanders.
Our prayers go out to the friends and families of the deceased. You'll have no regrets about today.
IF I KNEW
If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would  tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door,
I   would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.
If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute to stop and say "I love you,"
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.
If I knew it would be the last time, I would be there to share your day,
well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance to make everything just right.
There will always be another day to say "I love you,"
And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do?"
But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.
So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug,
or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear,
Tell hem how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear.
Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

WE WILL SOAR AGAIN
With my back turned,
you betrayed me
on a quiet peaceful day.
I was watching as the morning sun
cast colors across the bay.
Moments before your destruction,
my heart was quite at peace.
Then suddenly, without warning,
your attack was upon me.
All the feathers that have fallen
can never be replaced.
But of the ones that still remain,
have strength to honor their space.
For now, I wait. I watch. I heal.
With pride you could not contain.
For the one thing that is certain, with courage….
I WILL soar again!
Eagles are proud and patient.
They have keen eyesight and will watch for hours for prey....
in order to strike with amazing accuracy.
It has always been the perfect symbol for our nation.

SHARING The RAINBOW BRIDGE WELCOME
Dedicated: all Heroes 2 legs o4 legs.
WELCOME AT THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
On the morning of September 11, 2001,
there was an unprecedented amount of activity
at the Rainbow Bridge.
Decisions had to be made.
They had to be made quickly. and, they were.
An issue, not often addressed here,
is the fact that many residents really have no loved one for whom to wait.
Think of the pups who lived and died in hideous puppy mills.
No one on earth loved or protected them.
What about the many who spent unhappy lives tied in backyards?
And, the ones who were abused. Who are they to wait for?
We don't talk about that much up here.
We share our loved ones as they arrive, happy to do so.
But we all know there is nothing like having your
very own person who thinks you are the most special pup in the Heavens.
Last Tuesday morning a request rang out for pups not waiting for
specific persons to volunteer for a special assignment..
An eager, curious crowd surged excitedly forward,
each pup wondering what the assignment would be.
They were told by a solemn voice that unexpectedly, all at once,
over  4,000 loving people had left Earth long before they were ready.
All the pups, as all pups do, felt the humans' pain deep in their own hearts.
Without hearing more, there was a clamoring among them -
"May I have one to   comfort?" "I'll take two, I have a big heart."
"I have been saving kisses   forever."
One after another they came forward begging for assignment.
One cozy-looking fluffy pup hesitantly asked,
"Are there any children coming?
I would be very comforting for a child 'cause I'm soft
and squishy and I   always wanted to be hugged."
A group of Dalmatians came forward asking to
meet the Firemen and be their friends.
The larger working breeds offered to greet the Policemen & Firemen Officers
and make them feel at home.
Little dogs volunteered to do what they do best, cuddle and kiss.
Dogs who on Earth had never had a kind word or a pat on the head,
stepped forward and said, "I will love any human who needs love."
Then all the dogs, wherever on Earth they originally came from,
rushed to the Rainbow Bridge and stood waiting,
overflowing with love to share - each tail wagging an American Flag.
